The TechBox ESP8266NodeMCU Lua WiFi V3 Board is a small, complete, and breadboard-friendly board based on the ESP8266 WiFi capable microcontroller. The ESP8266 Board works with a Micro USB cable and arrives pre-soldered. The board can be powered via the Micro USB connection or via a 5V regulated external power supply (connected to the VIN pin). The power source is automatically selected to pull from the highest voltage source. The ESP8266 Board also has a variety of functions for communicating with a PC and other microcontrollers and uses the CP2102 USB to TTL microchip. It is one of the best ways to get started with a WiFi capable microcontroller and with learning and programming the Arduino programming language.
