The Nano I/O Expansion Board is a powerful breakout shield designed to pair with your TechBox Nano (or Arduino-compatible Nano board). It expands your connection options and simplifies wiring by bringing all the digital, analog, PWM and I²C pins out in a breadboard-friendly format — making it ideal for classroom prototyping, clean breadboard setups, and rapid wiring changes.
What’s Included:
- Nano I/O Expansion Board (fits Nano V2/V3) – Breakout shield mapping all major I/O lines, power rails, and communication headers for the Nano board.
- Pre-soldered Standoffs / Headers – Standard male headers installed for fast plug-in of the Nano and easy connection of jumper wires or breadboard leads.
Board Features:
- Full I/O Breakout – All digital I/O pins, 8 analog inputs, 6 PWM pins and dedicated ground & power rails are brought out for classroom-ready wiring.
- I²C & Communication Headers – Includes clearly labeled SDA/SCL, RX/TX, and other communication ports to streamline sensor and module integration.
- Power & GND Rails – Convenient 3.3 V, 5 V, VIN, and GND rails help you power sensors, modules or bread-board components without complex wiring.
- Breadboard-Friendly Layout – Pin spacing and labels match standard 0.1″ jumper wires and breadboards, making it ideal for student kits and kits inside project enclosures.
- Robust Build for Classroom Use – Durable PCB design with clear silkscreen labeling and standardized headers helps reduce errors and downtime when students swap boards or build repeater lessons.
